also could be useful to have a reload option, to be considered

@ki00 it would better to hve Babe output so i can track what happened. Run Babe from terminal and then show me the output ;)

ksso00 commented 7 years ago

I am not a programmer, which command need to use? or I will wait till wiki is done

milohr commented 7 years ago

just run babe from terminal. the command depends if you compile it or what the package name. for example: if compiled form source you can run ./Babe or if you are on arch linux and installed it from AUR babe-git then in teh terminal should appear all the debug messages

Same here (arch LXQt), adding collection (34gb) it crashes at 40% or 39% and it's not about about corrupt files, removing Talking Heads it crashes at at another point. But no useful info in terminal:

writting to db: "Air" "Talking Heads"
added to db: "Air"
writting to db: "Heaven" "Talking Heads"
added to db: "Heaven"
writting to db: "Cities" "Talking Heads"
added to db: "Cities"
Errore di segmentazione (core dump creato)
stef@arch:~/git/babe-qt$

update: I tried to add a subfolder too (of the same collection) and now it's filling the database.
