Hi, I have the same problem with the example :
http://apps.facebook.com/fb-as-api-example/
It appends juste after my profil name appears here : "Welcome XXXXXX YYYYYYY.
Select
a friend below to see their details."

"please" does not have a "z" in it
I'm afraid I'm not seeing the same problem. Can you provide more details?

I'm having errors as well. I copied the example files directly onto my server,
inserted my api key in the fb_as3_api_example.html page. When I run it, the
flash
load but the logger stops at:
starting jsBridge session
> > > calling method: facebook.users.getInfo
+uids = 122615709
+fields = name
You can view the error:
http://apps.facebook.com/picstesting/
Perphaps my facebook settings are incorrect for the app. They are as follows:
Callback URL
http://www.mtzembelicos.com/faceio/fb_as3_api_example.html
Canvas URL
http://apps.facebook.com/picstesting/
FBML/iframe
iframe
Dev Mode?
Off
Application Type
Desktop
Post-Authorize Redirect URL
http://apps.facebook.com/picstest1
Post-Add URL
http://apps.facebook.com/picstest1
Side Nav URL
http://apps.facebook.com/picstest1
Private Install?
No
Description
picstest1
Thanks
Also, I think I found a security violation that shows your secret key in the
url.

It seems that the example on facebook:
http://apps.facebook.com/fb-as-api-example
is not working in-and-of itself.
We're trying to write a flash application for facebook but having the example
not
work is somewhat discouraging. Is the problem on our side or is it the
interface with
facebook? Our entire team sees the output:
starting jsBridge session
> > > calling method: facebook.users.getInfo
+uids = *userid*
+fields = name
No friends come into the list and the heading says:
Welcome . Select a friend below to see their details.
Any helpful information?

Try putting a couple try catch statements inside
FacebookUserXMLParser.createFacebookUser

New release based of Facebook's Graph API is coming soon. SDK which this issue
depends on is no longer supported by Facebook.
