Oups just saw your PR... (See #22). However, it looks like it could be a null field (See http://198.245.50.26:13413/v1/blocks/0c6ea5e9fbfdad8abcfa9d2cad352b30a8831cd344ec0006164e000d48f955bc). If you don't mind I think we can go ahead and merge #22. However, I'm curious about the STATIC_ROOT, I also had some issues with the statics file not being served correctly, does it fix this issue ?

Thank you. I've just merged #22 since it handles nulls better.
