The only way i can reproduce this is if you try use the same link more than once. If you try request a new magic link does it then work for you?
Just managed to reproduce but only when using outlook. Were you also using a sussex address? The problem seems to be that when the link is processed through protect-eu.mimecast.com it goes to this User not found error. Whereas if you copy in the link manually it works.
It might be worth disabling signup through magic link until we can work out a fix.
