you can make torrents run commands after they are finished already.
Also, which player are you using? most modern players don't require you to
unrar in
order to watch.

All torrents or just the ones controlled by RSS PLUGIN?

It's not ONLY tv shows that I am requesting this feature for, but tv is one of
the
reasons. I use media player classic. I don't like VLC or RAR video player
(those
are the only two I know of that play RAR), do you have a suggestion for another
one?

I tend to use an htpc based on xbmc.
but....VLC is probably one of the best players around. Another great player is
mplayer. I personally don't use windows machines (ick) so i am not really sure
about
that.
I would def. welcome a mod which can do unrar but i do not believe it should be
automatic personally.
as far as making it happen automatically, yeah, it's possible though i doubt it
will
work with the current rss plugin SPECIFICALLY.
It would probably be an all or nothing sort of thing. You could likely set it
on a
specific watch directory, and then use something like rssdler instead of the
current
plugin, if it's THAT important to you.
It would require you learning how to set rssdler up and reading the rtorrent
manual
to see exactly how to do it though, i don't remember how.

Can't be realized in such way - for example, somebody can set this command to
"rm -fr /".
In "unrar part" this is a duplicate of Issue 108.
