The problem is that marginalia's annotations are not shown if preview is enabled. When the async process starts (3 characters are entered to consult-fd), marginalia's annotations are shown for a very brief moment, then they disappear. If I browse the candidates (move up/down among the candidates), and if some candidate cannot be previewed (for example, gif is not supported by my emacs), then for the next movement, annotations reappear.
