That's strange, the user agents of 1.16 and 1.17 are the same, just with different Chromium versions. I'm not sure why it'd be detecting them differently.
Are you still able to access the interface?
Hi there,
Yes, still have access to interface. Would there be any additional information that would be helpful?

What I meant is, does the site completely prevent you from accessing it, or does it just warn you (but still allow you to use the site)?
I suspect either way this is probably their bug; Min seems to be reporting the right version of Chromium in 1.17, which should be all that's required for it to work. If the site is still accessible, I think it's fine to ignore this, but if it blocks you from accessing it we can see about coming up with a workaround.
https://motu.com/products/avb/1248 is an audio interface that can be controlled over a Thunderbolt, USB, Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection. The "site" is the web page from the interface to control it.
I get the warning and cannot get past it to access the interface page.
When I link to this: http://user-macbook-pro.local:1280/0001f2fffe004d9f/#mixing It tells me the browser is out of date.
When I link to this: http://user-macbook-pro.local:1280/ It tells me the browser is out of date and won't work to list MOTU devices.
I can browse the internet using version 1.17.3 of Min . . . BBC.co.uk, YouTube, etc.. Min seems to be really fast compared to Firefox.
Does that help? My workround is to stick with 1.16 which works fine.
Thanks for your help.
Does it work in Chrome 87?
Also, do you know of any way for me to access the web interface without owning one of these?
Checked Chrome Version 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (x86_64) works with the interface.
The 1248 web interface is accessed either by a computer connected by Thunderbolt, USB, Ethernet connections or by connecting a router the the Ethernet connection and linking to that router.
If you are interested I could do some tests for you and copy the logs or whatever to you.
For my purposes I'd be ok just using Min 1.16.0 as that does the job just fine. I like the uncluttered screen with Min. However if it would assist you in the development I could do some tests and copy logs or whatever to you. You'd need to talk me through what you need though.

Delighted to report that Min version 1.23 works with MOTU 1248 interface under OSX 10.11.6 on Mac laptop. Thanks for the updates

Mac 10.11.6 version 1.16.0 working fine
Trying to run version 1.17.3 to control MOTU 1248 interface, Min displays the message :
"This browser is not supported Please click here to learn more and to upgrade to a more modern browser"
Min seems to open ordinary web pages ok - seems very fast actually.
