Confused about how customFilters.txt works

This is probably going to be a silly question but I can't tell if the customFilters.txt file is working and I'm not sure how to properly format it. I've checked out the adblock formatting help guide but was still a little confused. I'm on Windows so I've put the file in \users\username\appdata\roaming\min and I've added the following:

https://adaway.org/hosts.txt
https://malware-filter.gitlab.io/malware-filter/phishing-filter-ag.txt

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/StevenBlack/hosts/master/hosts

Sorry for the late response. You need to download the contents of each of those lists, and then paste the actual filters into customFilters.txt.
