Minecraft Version:

• Game Version: v1.21.30
• Launcher Version: v1.0.1-macOS-x86_64-0.2.477 (Build 477)

Issue:

After updating Minecraft to the latest version, the game launches but displays the following warning message before allowing gameplay:

Screenshot 2024-09-22 at 10 17 26 PM

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Update Minecraft to the latest version (v1.21.30).
2. Launch the game.
3. Observe the warning message before proceeding to play.

Additional Information:

Upon reviewing the new system requirements listed after the update, I found the following minimum requirements:

Android:
Operating System: Android OS 9
Memory: More than 1GB of RAM
Storage: 1 GB or higher
Graphics: OpenGL ES 3.1 or higher

Apple:
iOS/iPadOS 14 and above

Amazon Fire Devices:
Operating System: Fire OS 7 or above
Graphics: OpenGL ES 3.1 or higher

Chromebooks:
Graphics: OpenGL ES 3.1 or higher

The warning appeared immediately after the update. My Mac system specs have been fully compatible with previous versions of Minecraft, and I have had no issues until this update. 2023 - M2 Pro 16gb MacBook Pro

This is a software limitation of the current macOS port and is correct.

It's almost impossible to not see the warnings. They are also on the download page of the macOS port, getting started (new wiki, old one is not updateable) and mentioned in changelog 1.0.1.
