Important foe the future development of Inner Core instances/Horizon Modding Kernel #28

@TMM-Corporation

Is Horizon project dead? It's been a long time since the latest mc pack version update and since the latest portal-based mods bug fixes.

Is this project discontinued or what's happening.

I'll just sort things out a little bit.

  1. Updating the Minecraft version is currently not possible, conversations about this have been going on for years. The bottom line is - starting with the first beta version 1.17, the game symbols accessed by third-party launchers have been removed. Now they can only be accessed directly, at the address, but this is a huge job from scratch, which most likely no one is ready for.

  2. Writers of the documentation and especially Horizon developers are not engaged in creating modifications - this is the task of modders, links to which can probably be found by opening the mod page in the browser, just use the search in it.

  3. The project is alive, sort the mods by the date of the latest updates, hold the card with information about the pack to see the changelog and subscribe to the official Inner Core / Horizon group.

I hope some things have become clear, and if not, come to our Discord.

  1. So, Horizon/Inner Core is not updating anymore due to the work in the game base (instances) that is need to be done from scratch in 1.17+ versions of mc

  2. Tried that but the website have some bug issues so that even when I'm logged and wants to add feedback to the mod creator (comments section), it constantly logged me out and keep asking me to login to be able to comment and that loop stays forever

  3. 👏👍

  4. I joined Discord for more informations and maybe even pre-tester access if it's available to test instances that is not yet working due to requirements that must to be followed by dev to re-code the base from scratch to support them.

Inner Core does not stop updating, problems in Horizon are fixed with separate test builds in the VK group, and instead of comments under mod section, it is much easier to find development group in links on page. There are no plans to update the game itself, so the actual issue does not make sense.

P.S. Latest testing version of Intel Core is synchronized with the release (version 2.3.1b115), you can just use the Inner Core Test pack so as not to skip the latest test builds ;)
