It could be even better if I needed less clicks to access my backpack. I assume most of players' clicks on the backpack icon in the bottom toolbar are meant in attempt to access a backpack, rather than to manage the four bag slots. Especially once all of those hold big backpacks. :-)
So could we make that toolbar icon defaul to going to the previously opened backpack if it is still accessible? If there is no previously opened backpack, or it is not accessible, the current behavior (manage backpack slots) is a good falback.
An alternative would be to prefer the 1st available backpack, in case we don't want to save which one was opened.
Independent, in backpack contents screen, the backpack icon in the upper right corner above the backpack contents, should bring me to the backpack slot management screen.
