The list of commits is getting large. I've posted on the forum thread by dgm555 what I'm doing with some screenshots. If you want to cooperate, let me know how you'd like to do so

Wow, your changes are quite impressive! As I have little time to work on this project now, I see several solutions: either you can continue to maintain a fork, and I would add a link here to your fork saying that my version is deprecated, or I could grant you write access to the repository if you want to continue it there. Tell me what you would like best :).

I still haven't made up my mind about this yet. I'll keep my branch alive no matter what, anyway.

For now I''ll keep it in my repo next to mcresconvert. Maybe one day I'll make an effort to make a minetest-tools organization for things like this :D
