You have to use MLE to get the mean and standard deviation. However, your code is getting just mean and standard deviation of one sample.
```
estimation.mle <- function(data) {
mle.mean=mean(data)
mle.sd=sd(data)
return(c(length(data),mle.mean,mle.sd))
}
```
Your answer about "Describe how you might change the simulation to learn more about the operating characteristics of your chosen method for constructing the 95% confidence interval" has a problem. The problem asked you to change the "simulation". This means our sample is already set as a normal distribution. You cannot change the data you are using now. Please think about other ways to learn more about the operating characteristics, not changing the data itself.
