Webapp - Play in background #17

Thus far its only possible to play music continuously using Safari.

I added Snaeplayer to my homescreen. It works like an app, however when leaving the screen or putting the iPhone to sleep the music stops playing.

From what I understand this is a limitation for web apps in iOS, but I’m reading also contradicting messages saying it’s possible to play music in the background from a web app.

Would be great if this is possible (in the future) to add the functionality while using it as an app from the home screen.

https://bugs.webkit.org/show_bug.cgi?id=198277 Based on this bug status, issue should be fixed with Safari 15.4.1. What version of Safari are you running?

15.3, will update iOS now and test again
