Angle brackets are not escaped

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set up and configure extension
2. create a jira ticket with summary containing angle brackets (such as: "tag 
<picture> isn't displayed"
3. view it in extension
4. you will see: "tag isn't displayed", <picture> will not be escaped, thus 
becoming an invisible tag

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
entry "tag <picture> isn't displayed" in extension's overview

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.7.6
