FE User not logged in #27

Hi,

I'm trying to integrate this extension in to TYPO3 11 installation. There are some issues on the backend module, which prevents me to save the setting, but this is solved. I can push a PR later.

All steps on the https://www.miniorange.com/typo3-single-sign-on-sso are done. Test configuration from the backend module shows a green checkmark.

But if I try to log in in FE, no user session is created. I'm logged in in MS Azure and after MS redirects me back to the response page, I'm not logged in. On the response page I put a FE login form and a protected text element. FE login form shows that I'm not logged in and the protected text element is not showing.

Do I miss some steps?

Same here. This may have something to do with this breaking change in TYPO3 11: https://docs.typo3.org/c/typo3/cms-core/main/en-us/Changelog/11.0/Breaking-93023-ReworkedSessionHandling.html#changelog-breaking-93023-reworkedsessionhandling If we do a fix I will add it here.

I have the same issue after upgrading to LTS11 and miniorange_saml 2.0.1 Does that mean the extension is not working with LTS11 ?

Is a bugfix already planned ? Can you estimate how long this will take ?

I for myself have nothing planned. Actually I switched to https://github.com/cdaecke/md_saml
