Hi - this probably falls into your "nobody wants bloat" category. But I wonder if you've considered adding up/down 👍👎 buttons on posts in the feed to be able to learn what kinds of items in my feed I am particularly (dis)interested in, and then be able to have a "recommended" view that shows the highest scoring items. For example, I follow The Verge and love it, but they post often about deals and video games that I always dismiss (mark as read); downvoting could train a predictive algorithm.
I love this idea and the more I use tools like Miniflux the more I'm frustrated with the opportunities missed by such tools at using their data in such interesting way.
