GitHub not compatible with Quantum/DOM1 browsers #83

What happened?

Github has stopped supporting some older browsers, including the version of Firefox on DOM1 and Quantum. This affects switching branches, making it problematic for creating milestones/releases for deploying apps. We're looking for workarounds.

DOM1 users can use Chrome instead. Quantum users don't currently have an alternative.

Workaround for switching branches: change the URL in the address bar manually. It should take the format: https://github.com/<org>/<repo>/tree/<branch> e.g. https://github.com/ministryofjustice/analytics-platform-ops/tree/efs-home for the efs-home branch

Not sure we can do anything else but log the issue here. Closing.
