New pull request sorry - original comment:

Would like to get your thoughts on this concept @Julieallan @johnkane1

The idea is that the user will go to google and the back button will be disabled. Thats the bit I was focussing on but think we could add the contact and support info here too so that its on every screen - what you think? Maybe even on pages such as police force or CRN we can add a bit of copy to say if you are unsure you can contact the police on 101 etc....?

Trying to keep this section as small and unobtrusive as possible though.

I've used a secondary button here that isn't in the design system but was one I used at DWP and looks like GDS are working on new secondary and tertiary buttons.

Also if we go ahead with this and test it in PB then MOJ would like to put it into their design system for other teams to use. Would need to be tested thoroughly though.

Both suggestions are good.

1) I saw the grey button but maybe as I was looking for it. Red would stand out. 2) There's a lot of content. When it's just links in blue it stands out better (current service). Is there anyway to make it smaller or put it in a box - we previously had a blue box (wrongly used for a warning!) but not sure if that's a recognised pattern?

It would be good to have a consistent approach to the Help and Support but in saying that we should go with what we have for now for and see what comes out of PB. That should give us some insights and tell us if users need it/use it. I'll add a ticket to the backlog for instant exit so it can be prioritised.

Thanks for your feedback guys - yeah the grey isn't right - I was just sharing the concept and still looking at the colours and where the button will be placed etc but wanted to get initial thoughts. There is zero guidance so really we can decide which is great.

I think red would be pretty scary. We arent supposed to use colour to denote meaning. Ideally I think we should go with the grey so as not to distract the user from the primary task of completing the form and test its usability in PB - is that something we can do @Julieallan?

I doubt making the content scroll would be accessible? And at mobile I would like the button to appear along the bottom of the browser window at all times - it's too hard to show that in the prototype but I showed the idea to Stephen and he said it was doable.

This is the best example to show what I would like to do: https://www.victimandwitnessinformation.org.uk/

@Julieallan defo too much content - I wonder if theres a way to shorted it @johnkane1 do we need to put the opening times here? And agree the heading is too big. I think a h3 heading-s is enough.

I will merge and iterate on this.

Just talking to John about the red and we agree that wouldn't be the best idea - it would stand out and be the first thing that someone would see if they walked in when you were browsing!

I'll add a ticket to the backlog but would say it's down the priority list for PB.
