I have created an interim guide for use of Open Internet Tools, here

@cybersquirrel Please may I request approval to publish?

Without advance consent from anyone affected, don't use OITs for storing personal data

This line read a little oddly and whilst I think I know what it means, I'm still not 100% sure. Other than this, I am happy (although see my email for one further question).

I have now had feedback from Jack C. and incorporated his points. I have also modified the confusing terminology you mentioned above.
