Pagination of table lists

Provider a user an easy way to navigate lists of information

Show number of items in the entire list
Show position in a list
Provide a means to change the number of items in a list
Provide a means to navigate between pages, and go to the start or end of the list
Retain column sort order when paginating
Retain search and filters when paginating

I'd say that there is not adequate spacing for the next and previous buttons, as you can see below:

It looks like the page numbering was acting as padding, and the numbers have simply been removed. The words now appear are closer to each other than the arrows, which is quite confusing. I'd suggest we add some margin between them when used in the next / previous instance.
