Currently the Observability Platform suggests shipping Prometheus metrics into a central AMP, but this ties each tenants into one particular instance, not great if Observability Platform doesn't make it out of prototype.

Analytical Platform are building their compute environment, and are looking to ship metrics to AMP, but not Observability Platform AMP, given the current uncertainty of the design of the platform.
Value / Purpose
Being able to read from tenant AMP workspaces will allow the same model as reading from CloudWatch, as in no data is shipped into Observability Platform
