This ticket has been raised to upgrade the Alpine image used to a higher version. It is almost EOL. Ends in 3 months - (01 Nov 2022)

We weren't able to achieve this prior to change freeze, it'll be brought into the first sprint next year.

Work done on this is encapsulated in this PR. Work will continue next week.

Above PR merged successfully. I won't close this ticket for now as tomorrow we will merge this PR to upgrade the Alpine image from 3.14 to 3.15. After this we will look to upgrade GLIBC versions and potentially Ruby.

Above PR's completed. Alpine now versions 3.15. Later releases are not yet available in Cloudsmith.
