You're saying that ElectricSleep just uses more battery than the other two?
This is probably not the case if you were to turn the screen off- the
monitoring sleep activity uses a lot of resources- and wouldn't if the screen
was off or you were on your homescreen, for example.

Also for the record, ElectricSleep will work correctly with the screen off, and
automatically stops the phone from sleeping. You shouldn't NEED to do step 1
and 2.
