Crashes QGIS on starting app on Mac #255

I have updated my software and plugins and OS. I am working on a 2017 iMac with 24gbs RAM. I have used Qgis2threejs to create 3D models from QGIS before on this machine. I am running the latest release of QGIS (as of yesterday) not the stable, earlier version.

When I launch the plugin to try to create a 3D model, the qgis2threejs dialog window briefly pops up before the whole app crashes.

Thanks for maintaining this really useful app!

Does it crash if you try it in a clean QGIS profile and a empty project?

Yes, I just tried it with an empty project and it crashes. I downloaded an updated version of QGIS last week, but it is populated with my projects. Is a clean profile a new install with no project files?

You can create and use a clean user profile by going Settings -> Profiles and then 1. create a new one and 2. choose/click it, then a new independent QGIS instance should launch.

I created a clean profile, downloaded the plugin again and it crashed the new instance.
