Cannot reproduce it here (mupen64plus 1.5+dfsg1-6). Can you please try the
version
of mupen64plus in Ubuntu?
Can you also try svn version (or if you want the mercurial version).

Please also specify the MD5/CRC of your rom. Also check if not two different
buttons
are using the same key number in your blight_input.conf.

Have you also tried pure interpreter and interpreter?

And are you speaking of 2p split screen mode?

Have tried it with 2BB149A583FDEFEA96805F628FE42FD9 in 32 bit and 64 bit 1.5 too
with dynarec and pure interpreter and it worked fine in 2p mode using keyboard
(left, right, up, down used for analog stick of second controller and right
strg for
A) for second player and joypad for first player.

I've tried with the ubuntu package, same problem. Why not try whith the svn
version?
But I want to give you more information :

I've got two joypad of the same constructor, same name, witch are name "Jess
Tech
analog Pad #1" and "Jess Tech analog Pad #2".

I speak of the split screen mode. Each joypad can correctly select it's player
with
nanlogic or digital axis, but in game, the left and right button on player 2
never works.

The MD5 of the ROM is 2BB149A583FDEFEA96805F628FE42FD9
The CRC 1 is : 2577C7D4
The CRC 2 is : D18FAAAE

(It was working grat when I played with project64 in wine, but I think mupen
give me
betters graphic's performances)

Note : a cat on /dev/input/js1 works fine as a cat in /dev/input/js0

Here's my blight_input.conf file...
Thank you for your quick answers

Issue resolved.

I opened one time more my blight_input.conf and I copied the PAD 1 parameters
and
then changed the input device from 0 to 1. And now..., it works.
Here's joined my blight_input who works.

Really don't know what were the problem. It was working in the menu...!?

Sorry for the inconvenience,.. See you long life to mupen64plus

Bye

I didn't say that you shouldn't try the svn version.

Tried it here with your config and it worked. I have to say that I only own one
keypad and so I had to change input 1 to keyboard. Can you test if it works too
if
you change keypad one to keyboard and just change A button to right strg?

Found an old usb joystick and tried your config again. Works fine here. Don't
have a
glue at the moment what could be different in your setup.
