Possible workaround — use microHDMI - HDMI cable to connect device with
monitor directly, it will allow you to share video from Tango to monitor, but
major disadvantage of it, you will be limited by cable length.

Do you still see the issue if you update to Lollipop?

Project Tango development tablets don't currently support the screen sharing
feature via Chromecast. It's possible that they will support it in the future
by upgrading the device to Lollipop, but there's no set date for addressing
this currently. In the meantime, you can use a micro-HDMI cable to share to the
TV, but we understand that's a lot less convenient and appreciate your patience
on the matter.
