j button improvements #19

j is a magical button indeed.

I would suggest, however, that the padding be applied to the top so when
you "j key it" the title area isn't butted RIGHT UP against the browser
space. Give it a bit o' room. :)

Also, when the item is "hidden" and J is pressed, the next item up should
auto-unhide to be read, and then re-hidden at next J press.

"jpress" :)

I'm glad you like the magic j button! I got the idea from Google Reader. They
do the same magic type behavior,
except it's tied to the space bar. Changing the behavior of the space bar
always bothered me.

I know exactly what you mean about the item being right at the top of the
screen.  It bothers me too.

Your unhiding idea is pretty good and probably should be applied to n and p.

I've always been partial to the way it marks them as they scroll off the screen,
myself. Thought that was cool, but it doesn't fit with all the other interface
options of fof.

I fixed the "breathing room" problem. I haven't yet made j (or n or p) auto
unhide items, though.
