I'm not a big fan of dune-build-info (which adds a new dependency) but let's say that it's fine. Thanks! Do you need a release?

Hmm, so in all other projects we use %%VERSION%% (which e.g. dune replaces with the current version on release time). Why is here dune-build-info suddenly used (/cc @samoht who proposed that change)?
