I also moved some entries from the unreleased changelog to v2.6.0. The previous release is quite difficult to find from the main history. It seems that this branch (https://github.com/mirage/ocaml-tar/compare/main...v2.6.x) has not been merged, but the changelog and release v2.6.0 are available.
