Use difftool with Meld using complete directory option -d
Add RStudio Addins
Update README

Tested on Ubuntu 20.04

@statnmap, sorry for the long waiting, I am finally having a chance to look at this in detail and integrate it.

I will probably re-target this PR to a dedicated branch compare-branch in this repo and merge it as-is. Will then be working there towards some refinements and alignment.

I will kindly ask you to have a look before we finalize it at our end.

@statnmap, @RolandASc, I have created issue #46 where I collected my thoughts for integrating the new feature.

Any feedback or input is welcome while I start integrating this PR as a starting point.
