Design a software visualization tool that enables the user to explore a folder with something like Disk Inventory X but which is aware of the programming language content of the folder and .git meta-data. In particular, some things that could be done to provide rich information are:

evolution activity (churn in a given file)
file ownership (which users worked on which files)
different file types
etc.

Moreover, the tool should also allow the user to ignore certain types of files (e.g. .git) or even ignore by default (e.g. .git)
