I have absolutely no idea what the cause of this bug is and what kind of bug it is anyway, all I have is some log output, I use Java 16.0.2 (maybe use 17?) and have downloaded the jar like 30 minutes ago (exe didnt work for me aswell)

C:\Users\username\Desktop>java -jar world-downloader.jar

Can you run java -version?

StayKwimp commented 2 years ago

Sure

C:\Users\username>java -version
openjdk version "16.0.2" 2021-07-20
OpenJDK Runtime Environment Temurin-16.0.2+7 (build 16.0.2+7)
OpenJDK Client VM Temurin-16.0.2+7 (build 16.0.2+7, mixed mode)

This appears to be resolved when running the application with a JDK that includes JFX. Executing atop Zulu JDK + JFX 18 opens without issue.
