Value proposition

As a user I want to be able to edit an information in my packing list so that further information can be added to one list item or spelling errors could be deleted.

Acceptance criteria

• [ ] By clicking on the pencil icon on the right side the list item can be edited
• [ ] The item can be edited with a textfield:
  • [ ] The updating process can be stopped by clicking on a cancel button
  • [ ] The update can be confirmed by clicking on save
• [ ] Clicking on the save button the textfield will be closed

Tasks

• [ ] Create the feature branch feature/packing-list-Edit
• [ ] Create a edit button to each list item
• [ ] Add a edit form field for editing the list item
• [ ] Confirm the changes just by clicking on the submit button ("save")

Hi! This looks great, if perhaps a little sparse (in comparison to ours, which are perhaps too full). I have one question/suggestion for a change:

• You write, "Left beside each item is a checkbox," but in your wireframe, there appears to be a checkbox both to the left and the right. Could you please clarify this?
• also, and this is not very important in a wireframe (but perhaps important in the app itself), it's spelled "trousers." 😊

Hey there,

I have also two tiny suggestions:

Title: The title of your US (feature name) is "Packing list Edit". However, what you want to achieve here is that a user can mark/check an item as packed. Afterwards you could still think about implementing an edit feature, meaning that an item on the packing list can be changed if the user for example made a spelling mistake.

Value Proposition: Same as in your previous user story you do not mention the packing list in your value proposition. There I suggest to rephrase the value proposition. Keep in mind, that in the second line we want to write about the feature and the third line should mention the benefit for the user:

As a user I want to mark items on my packing list as packed so that I can keep track of what I've already prepared for my trip.
