Search feature only working for suggested results

When I write anything in the search bar, I can only access the "Suggestions" items as no direct search results are shown and hitting enter doesn't change the displayed results, rendering the search feature as quite a hassle to use.

This is different than issue #4 since the website doesn't seem to reload and the music doesn't stop while searching either. It is important to notice I have a Spanish account and since it's not supported by Amusiz yet in the preferences, I suppose I can't avoid issue #2 and it might be connected to this somehow.

Anyhow, thanks for the nice program and hope it can be fixed at some point!

current version: amusiz-1.2.2-1 from AUR Distro: Manjaro 21.0.7

Hi, sadly this is just how Amazon Music search works. Amusiz wraps some of the website features, such as search (which works by typing text) but these are offered as is as we have no control over what happens on the website.

I see, however when I use the app which I suppose does the same (even though it's an app managed by Amazon, but it seems to be the same interface and all) I get different results when I press Enter. That is, the preview in both the app and Amusiz do the same (show shuggestions) but when one actually throws the search request on the app it shows results based on this search keywords. Why does it not work on Amusiz? I suppose it's something that has to do with the wrapping of the site, but I wanted to clarify in case we are talking about different stuff.

My mistake, I understand now what you mean. I can enable the Enter key to perform the actual search but should be noticed that this will perform a page change and so the background music will be interrupted.

Oh, so in the end it's a result of the solution/hack of issue #2! Understood, in that case it's more beneficial to leave it as it is, I suppose.

I could allow the user to enable this option from the preferences so as to please everyone

Having more control is great most of the time so that would be a welcomed option in my opinion. It would also be great if you could add amazon.es login support at some point but that's a different topic.

Added functionality and support to the Spanish version of the site. The update is on the road.
