This seems to be an OpenCL related bug. Can you please run "clinfo" on your system? You should at least see your Core I7 as an OpenCL device and also the embedded Intel HD graphics chip. You should also see your dedicated graphics card if you have one. Can you please post the clinfo output?

NOTE: your OpenCL library only supports OpenCL 1.0,
but some installed platforms support OpenCL 1.2.
Programs using 1.2 features may crash
or behave unexepectedly
Ok, this is strange. Can you please update your JDK and try again?
Also, can you please checkout the master
branch and run the de.mirkosertic.bytecoder.api.opencl.ContextTest.testSimpleAdd
in your IDE? I guess the automatic workgroup detection is doing something very strange, leading to the jvm crash.
The autodetection chose to use the Intel CPU are the OpenCL computing device. This can be overridden by passing a OPENCL_DEVICE=<devicenum>
as a JVM system property. Using OPENCL_DEVICE=1 should chose the AMD R9. Does this make a difference?
your guess might be right.
when i use OPENCL_DEVICE=1
, i got vm crash.
and when i use OPENCL_DEVICE=0
, i got another result that was never ending...
my env.
$ java -version

$ git log | head -1

Thank you for your response! At least the OpenCL tests have passed, I still do not have a clue what went wrong during the device auto detection. Maybe this is a driver issue, I will dive deeper...
Current HEAD compiles on different machines without problems. I fill close this issue for know. Please let me know if there are still problems .
i got an error when building bytecoder-core. could you find a reason? and tell me your env. also.
vm crash log is here. my environment is inside below log.
thanks,
