Application closes upon proxy error, user cannot change settings #100

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set a non-functional proxy or move outside the US
2. Open openpandora

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
 I expect the program to report a connection failure and let me change
proxy settings. Instead, it opens a dialog informing me of the failure and
immediately shuts down. I cannot change the proxy settings to configure a
proper connection.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 0.7.0 (beta 6) on windows 7 home premium

Use OpenPandora 0.6.9 instead of the latest Beta release.  It works for me.
