Huge CPU Hog #75

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Running OpenPandora
2. Not sure if this is a Vista only issue

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect it to not consume a lot of the cpu%, instead it takes a huge chunk
of it.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
currently 0.6.9 (still hogging cpu, gonna do a fresh install and see if it
makes a difference) on Vista

Please provide any additional information below.

Ever since I upgraded to 0.7.0 OpenPandora became a huge cpu hog. It now
consumes as much as 60% on my Core 2 Due T7500 (2.2 ghz dual core) and
hovers around the 30% mark on average. I did not have this problem with
0.6.9, however, after upgrading to 0.7.0, 0.6.9 is also a cpu hog after
downgrading

A fresh install (uninstalling OpenPandora and reinstalling 0.6.9) did not
resolve the
cpu issue

This is also happening to me. Application runs fine for about 1-2 songs, then
CPU usage creeps to 100% and locks up the program. Dual core processor allows
me to keep working and end the process.

Did not have this issue running the same software on a different system.
Perhaps .NET or Flash 10 compatibility issue?
