Use Version 0.7.0.5 That is what I am using because I was having the same
problems
and I am using Windows 7x64 also. I do not remember where I got that
information
from though. So kudos to them who ever they where.

Same problem here, tried 0.7.0.5 and 0.7.0.6. Neither of which worked.

If you have the same problem, press the star to be notified - don't reply with
"me
too". The issue will be fixed when the votes "stars" for the problem goes up.

You can get the 0.6.9 version downloaded from here:

http://code.google.com/p/openpandora/downloads/list

that version is working for me on x64. Enjoy!

Yes, 0.6.9 works, but 0.7.0.6 is broken in the same way as described at the top
of this thread.

0.6.9 works for me, though I wish I could use 7.0.6

Playing around the source of this application I figured out that recompiling
lgLCDNETWrapper.dll (G15 support) helps resolve the issue.
I don't know if this is against rules, but here's the link to recompiled file:
http://destym.ru/tmp/openpandora/lgLCDNETWrapper.dll
Replace the original DLL file in app dir. Hope this workaround helps...

I can confirm Sergey's fixed this for me. Thanks Sergey, I hope you weren't
inclined to include malware in your build :) (Windows 7 x64)

@Sergey (Comment 14). The dll you provided is crashing OpenPandora. The
EventLog shows:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files
(x86)\OpenPandora\lgLCDNETWrapper.dll". Dependent Assembly
Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT,processorArchitecture="x86",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e1
8e3b",type="win32",version="9.0.21022.8" could not be found. Please use
sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

with an error reading either: I dont have permissions or it is missing some
"side-by-side" file. Uh help :P and i dunno how to do what sergey said.

I can confirm that OpenPandora 0.7.0.6 is working just fine with Windows 7
Ultimate x64 Service Pack 1.The multimedia keyboard/global hotkey support didnt
work at first but nothing that this thread [Issue 80,Comment 22] (
http://code.google.com/p/openpandora/issues/detail?id=80#c22 ) couldn't fix.

You can also rebuild the source using the Configuration Manager set to x86
instead of "Any CPU". Flash only works in 32 bit mode.

I fixed this problem by installing .net 1.1 (google it). I am running Windows 7
x64 ultimate. However now it just gets stuck at the loading screen with
constant "mouse-clicking noises".

Pandora has a client app now, it works well on Windows 7 x64.
http://www.pandora.com/#!/p1/p1_app_download. It seems to be hard to find on
their site really, if you don't know its there.

@Comment 21.
When you click on the link, it says "You must upgrade to Pandora One to use the
Pandora Desktop Application". Pandora One is the premium subscription service
for Pandora. This may be undesirable/unfeasible for some users who want to
listen to Pandora's free service in a desktop application format.
