Window size for sharing not large enough/unscrollable #95

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start OpenPandora
2. Attempt to share via Twitter,Facebook, email, etc...
3. The new window for sharing in OpenPandora is not scrollable or movable,
so you will not be able to submit it nor scroll to the bottem of the new
window.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

OpenPandora should have the inner windows movable or scrollable so that
you can see the submit buttons on the share functionality. Currently the
OpenPandora viewable area is not large enough to fully view the inner
window that pops up for sharing items.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
OpenPandora 0.7.0.6 on WinXP

Not that I mind the ads being cut off by the unscrollable window, but when other
content is down there, it should be accessible.

I have a similar issue with Win7/64 with ver. 0.7.0.6, but my problem is with
the main content window, it does seem about 20 pixels too short. (If you are
reading about the band, the "full lyrics" is barely visibale below the bottom
of the un-scrollable screen. (Does this have anything to do with default
browser?Firefox).

It's pretty annoying, but not use-prohibitive.

I had this problem, too. I found that I had shrunk the web page by holding the
CTRL key and scrolling the mouse wheel. By holding CTRL and scrolling the
opposite way I maximized the part of the screen I wanted (the part without
ads!).

I've had the same issue as well, and it gets worse if you click the "account"
button at the top of the screen. You'll end up trapped there since the
"cancel" button is hidden below the cutoff.

I ended up taking matters into my own hands and making a custom build for
myself:
