New/additional maintainer?

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a problem.
2. Report it.
3. Nothing happens.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Patches that are provided to fix issues are not getting committed.  These
patches should at least be committed.

I understand we are all busy, and that's okay if someone doesn't have time
to work on this project.  But can we get someone who at least has commit
privs to commit the patches that are being submitted?  If the developer is
no longer available can someone offer to take over the project, if so who
would one contact?

Has anyone tried contacting Eitan Pogrebizsky to see about getting add as a 
contributer/maintainer/administrator?
