More of a question rather than a bug (or possible bug)
When creating custom ore spawning copper veins seem not to spawn at all. As I created a new world in game I noticed huge clay vein spawns instead of what I figure is suppose to be copper. Here is the datapack I am using for ore spawning:
Large Ore Veins (1.19.4)
Not sure what I did wrong, but I'm pretty sure clay spawns on the surface near or under water in lakes or rivers not buried with stone or deepslate. It should be mentioned in copper ore large and small and deepslate copper ore large and small (json file).
Is something in the code mixing up copper with clay? Or have I done the datapack incorrectly? I'm not sure if I should put this issue here or somewhere else
It does actually work as I intended it to work. Clay spawn is seperate from the copper spawn. Copper is just very rare it turns out. Sorry about that. I will close this out so you don't need to deal with it.
