@claireyung I'm not sure from the name of this issue on the TODO list, but is this for Ocean0 and Ocean1? Or just Ocean0? Or Ocean1 and Ocean2? (Or all three!?)
Just an update. I made an example plot here https://github.com/dgwyther/isomip-plus/blob/vertical_temperature_transect/notebooks/vertical-temp-transects/VerticalTemperatureTransects.ipynb
How does this look...
@dgwyther, this is really great!
I'm surprised to see how blocky the contours are for so many models. I wouldn't have expected that for either of mine. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong in my vertical interpolation.
I think we agreed that we wanted the last year of Ocean1, rather than Ocean0. We may also want the last year of Ocean2 for the supplement.
We should agree on this as a group but my preference would be to leave the gray grid lines off since they complicate the visibility of the contours a little bit.
I like the choice to put the panel labels inside the plots. That's worth attempting in my melt-rate, TD and HD plots as well.

I think I may have decided to do "conservative" interpolation to the comparison grid, which would account for the blockiness compared with linear interpolation. Perhaps that's true of the other models that look blockier.
Ocean1 and 2 plots added here: https://github.com/dgwyther/isomip-plus/blob/vertical_temperature_transect/notebooks/vertical-temp-transects/VerticalTemperatureTransects.ipynb
Some interesting differences
Pull request submitted.
A figure to show the temperature structure of each model after some melting has occurred to compare the meltwater plumes and mixing?
E.g. this is a snapshot of Ocean0 at t=12 months from https://github.com/misomip/isomip-plus/blob/main/notebooks/general-plotting/2DFields.ipynb
