When I see that happen, it is usually helpful and intended, e.g.: bold & italics text, quoting, etc.
but sometimes it would be unintentional result, like mask for unprintable word (e.g. a**le ju**e
β ale jue), so they should be as-is
Technically youβre right, but I donβt remember seeing this kind of problems, it must be quite rare (from my point of view).
