This version mixes FM and PSG sound using a new module: jt12_genmix. This module mixes the two channels at the same sample rate (55kHz) and then changes the sampling rate to 54MHz by using interpolator filters. The use of filters prevents aliasing and spectrum replication from happening.
The sound of this version has a more strong bass and cleaner sound. However, we may have hit the limits of the current DAC in terms of sound quality.
