Following from a message posted in the Discord that was a suggestion to make the Ender Dragon harder to defeat or/and making the Ender Dragon drop more look rather than just the EXP and other common items.

Just to expand on this topic, instead of making it increasingly stronger, perhaps making the dragon harder with a pre-set config for item drops? It's been a long time since I've worked with mod development so I wouldn't know if this is entirely possible.
