Hi Kit,

I have extended the merge cells feature as follows:

ability to merge between specific cells e.g. A18 to B20
ability to merge between named cells e.g. cell "ID" to cell "Name"
ability to merge between named and specific cells and vice versa
ability to merge cells given a starting named/specific cell and a column span and row depth (and vice versa)

Hopefully these will prove useful!

Merged, thank you so much @emigajda !

I changed Centre to Middle for vertical alignment for a couple of reasons:

The Excel UI uses Middle in this way - e.g. in hover hints
I tend (through gritted teeth admittedly) to stick to US spellings for things like "color" and "center" as this feels a bit more global. Thanks for pointing out this issue.

Honestly @emigajda this is a stunning PR, I cannot thank you enough.
