No one has been working on this repo for quite sometime. I think it might be time to archive it. https://github.com/zrepl/zrepl/tree/ee2336a24b4049f48296aad1156f2e1d514bd915/zfs might be a better option.

Yep I noticed that yesterday and I have been wanting to get this project going again soblets give it a go.
