A number of bottles require archive.org which it currently being down, because of rather bleak circumstances, makes obtaining some bottles not possible.

Bottles such as:

Unfortunately, all the bottles are on there. :/ It should be falling back to build from source if the bottle isn't available, at least?

XerTheSquirrel commented 2 weeks ago

It is not building from source unfortunately, it just times out after a few minutes and then fails.

Ahh, nevermind this is incorrect, I was not noticing it in the console output as the build log was not visible.

If/when the bottles do come back, would be happy to setup some kind of mirror for them.

Hi!

I setup a mirror of all the files, in a flat way, at both:

Wow, thank you! That was fast. Are you interested in having this made available to all Tigerbrew users as a default fallback if archive.org isn't available?

(This is how I found out archive.org is back.)

Thank you for Tigerbrew! It honestly is pretty useful to me for my ancient PowerPC Macs, is great to test portability with!

Sure! I do not mind at all. Note that I did not bother with having sub-directories so just the filename can be used, directory based clones are a pain. I downloaded everything from the above archive.org URL and I also searched for other archive.org based URLs in a general grep. I put everything on its own port (:82 and :445) since the main domain is a Fossil repo, which would try to interpret any URL as being part of the repo.

Yeah, I saw them post on BlueSky so I decided to see if those URLs came back and joy!
