https://github.com/fog/fog-core/issues/206 is now resolved as of fog-core 1.44.1 I believe this can be closed

we might want to keep this for a short period of time to ensure that we don't break and then after the intended change is made and verified working we can unlock. That being said I see the value in closing this PR.
